Stump Tables

Our stump tables are statement pieces. Each one is sculpted and assembled to be one of a kind. The first stumpy table was built by Anw, under the guidance of John. Anw is one of John’s keen and imaginative apprentices. He had found an ancient bog oak stump on a farm nearby. Bog oak being thousands of years old, Anw knew he had to save this from the farmer’s firewood pile. With the farmer’s permission, Anw carried the stump on the bus which was quite a feat (as bog oak is way heavier than regular oak) back to the workshop and turned it in a beautiful yin-yang oak-bog oak stump table with candle holder. It was quite a work of art that the boys created!
